Overview
About this service
The Public Services Number (PSN, ՀԾՀ — often still called the “social card number”) is a unique 10-digit identifier assigned to Armenian citizens, foreign nationals with residence status, stateless persons permanently residing in Armenia, refugees and foreigners legally present in the country. It is needed for employment, opening a bank account, tax matters and many public services.
Today the number is confirmed by a certificate (տեղեկանք), and for Armenian citizens it is generally also reflected in the ID card. A separate plastic “social card” is no longer issued — the term is a historical one. The certificate is issued by every subdivision of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; according to official information it is free of charge and issued immediately.
We help you understand your situation, collect and, where needed, translate your documents, choose the most suitable way to apply and support you until the certificate is in hand. The decision to assign a number and issue a certificate rests solely with the competent authority.
